Under Twenty started because I was tired of buying cheap crap that broke immediately, but also tired of being told I needed to spend $50 on a spatula.
In 2024, I bought 47 different Amazon Haul products in one month – everything from $2 phone cases to $19 kitchen gadgets. Tested them all. Kept a spreadsheet. Realized that about 60% were actually decent, 25% were fine for the price, and 15% were absolute trash.
The problem? Nobody was being honest about which was which. Every blog post was just “Best Budget [Whatever]!” with zero real testing. So I started Under Twenty: Real money spent, real testing done, real opinions shared. If it’s good, I’ll tell you. If it sucks, I’ll roast it. Simple.

Products go into rotation for 14-30 days minimum. We use them in real scenarios – not lab conditions. If a $4 phone case breaks on day 3, you’ll know.
Step 3
Comparison & Analysis
We compare to pricier alternatives we own or have tested. Calculate cost-per-use. Check durability. Look for deal-breakers. Document everything.
Step 4
Honest Review
Write the review like we’re texting a friend. Include pros, cons, and the real talk: is it worth $6 or should you just save up for the $25 version? You get the truth.
