This Privacy Policy explains how VITLAS LTD handles information when you use DDLC: Literature Club Story, also known as Doki Doki Literature Club or DDLC (the "Game"). VITLAS LTD is the developer and legal entity responsible for this mobile version of the Game. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to VITLAS LTD.

1. INFORMATION HANDLED BY THE GAME

Local game data

The Game stores settings, save slots, story progress, unlocked content, and similar gameplay information locally on your device. The Game does not require an account and does not provide cloud saves. We do not receive this locally stored information unless you choose to send it to us, such as when requesting support.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you include in your message.

Advertising and technical information

The Game contains third-party advertising software. Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and the advertising configuration, advertising providers may automatically process information such as:

- Device make, model, operating system, language, screen, app, and network information;
- IP address, advertising identifiers, and advertising privacy settings;
- Ad impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad events, and other interactions with advertisements; and
- Diagnostic, performance, security, and fraud-prevention information.

2. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

Information may be used to:

- Store your progress and preferences on your device;
- Display, personalize, measure, and improve advertisements;
- Provide optional rewarded-ad features;
- Detect fraud, protect security, and maintain app performance; and
- Respond to support or privacy requests.

3. THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING SERVICES

VITLAS LTD uses AppLovin MAX in the Game to deliver advertisements. AppLovin MAX may mediate advertisements from additional advertising partners, including Meta Audience Network. These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may act as independent data controllers.

Advertisements may lead to third-party apps, stores, or websites that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION

Advertising and technical information may be shared with AppLovin and its advertising partners to provide, personalize, measure, secure, and improve advertisements. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or security issues, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets.

If you email us, your message will also be processed by the service providers used to operate our email service.

5. YOUR CHOICES AND PRIVACY RIGHTS

You may:

- Delete locally stored Game data through Android's app settings or by uninstalling the Game;
- Manage advertising personalization and reset or delete your advertising identifier through your Android privacy and ads settings;
- Use the privacy controls and request methods provided by AppLovin, Meta, and other advertising partners; and
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control, such as a support email, subject to applicable law.

Depending on where you live, personalized advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws. You can use your device settings and the advertising providers' privacy tools to limit this processing. You may still see non-personalized or contextual advertisements.

6. DATA RETENTION

Local Game data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the Game. We keep support communications only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Advertising providers apply the retention periods described in their own privacy policies.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Game is not suitable for children and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Advertising and email service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy policies describe their processing practices and any safeguards used for international transfers.

9. SECURITY

We use reasonable measures to protect information under our control. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

VITLAS LTD may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its services, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date at the top of this document.
